Site banner message option (display a short message on all pages)

In our previous workflow engine we had good use of an option to add a banner message to all forms form a system wide configuration setting. There were two possible settings - one that added a line of text at the top and bottom of each page but left all functionality unchanged, and one that replaced the content of every form with a site message.

This was used as a simple way of informing all users of upcoming maintenance windows or ongoing problems that could affect the user experience.

I would be great to have something similar in K2/Nintex Automation.
